There are many situations where we need to keep our main line under water, safe from traffic on the water, high winds or simply just for better camouflage for varying fish. That adapter clip will ensure a very smooth gliding on the mainline while keeping it intact. If we wish to lose the lead on a bite just keep the swivel lock loose.
